ISBI April 14-17, 2010, Rotterdam The Netherlands

The International Symposium for Biomedical Imaging (ISBI) is a professional event that began in 2002 spawned from the world’s largest technical professional association the IEEE, based in the United States. At first a biennial event, its success has brought it to become an annual congress. Its second edition outside the USA will take place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, 14-17 April, 2010.

The ISBI attracts around 600 participants from diverse multidisciplinary areas of biomedical imaging, ranging from basic research, to preclinical and clinical fields of expertise, including: photonics and optics, contrast agents chemistry, signal processing, preclinical and clinical imaging technologies, digital imaging microscopy, image analysis and bioinformatics. Attendees from these diverse research backgrounds will contribute to a dynamic scientific program, including plenary seminars by internationally renowned names. In addition, there will be several hundred attendee posters and oral presentations, scheduled into organized thematic sessions in four parallel tracks.
